1green pepper

32 ouncestomato sauce
24 ouncestomato paste
1 teaspoonitalian seasoning
1 teaspoonfennel seeds
crushed
1 teaspoongarlic powder
½ teaspoonground black pepper
½ teaspoonsalt
1 ½ teaspoondried parsley flakes
15lasagna noodles
24 ouncesricotta
16 ouncessour cream
8 ouncescream cheese
softened
24 ouncesmozzarella
shredded
Instructions
Step 1
Combine beef, onion and green pepper; brown and drain.
Step 2
Mix all sauce ingredients and simmer at least a couple hours--longer is better. when just right, combine with meat mixture. if sauce is liquid-y, noodles do not need pre-cooking.
Step 3
Combine ricotta, sour cream, and cream cheese; mix well.
Step 4
Assembly: 1/2 cup meat sauce in bottom of greased roasting pan. 1/2 noodles, cheese mix on top of that, sauce on top of that, then mozzarella, then 1/2 noodles, cheese mixture, meat sauce, then mozzarella on top.
Step 5
Bake at350° at least 30 minutes; rest for 10 before serving.
