Instructions
Step 1
Pop your pot onto a medium heat and then add the berries, sugar and lemon juice and stir.
Step 2
When they berries start to heat add in a dash of water to speed to process up a little and then stir occasionally until nice and smooth then remove from heat.
Step 3
Whilst the berries are cooking away, get a deep bowl and add 2 eggs, a dash of milk and a dash of cinnamon and stir.
Step 4
Pop a frying pan onto a medium heat and then pop your bread slices one by one into the egg mixture, coat well and then fry on both sides until golden brown.
Step 5
Cut your bread slices in half and pore the berry compote over and dust with icing sugar.
