Ingredients
20 servings
2 poundsground beef
2 x 28 ouncecans crushed tomatoes
2 x 15 ouncecans tomato sauce
6 ouncecan tomato paste
½ cupbeef broth
1yellow onion
grated
3garlic cloves
minced
1 tablespoonitalian seasoning
½ teaspoonsalt
black pepper
1 bunchfresh oregano leaves
on the stem, tie with kitchen twine to be able to remove later
2bay leaves
2 tablespoonssugar
Instructions
Step 1
In a pan over medium high heat cook the ground beef with the Italian seasoning, onion and garlic until cooked through, 5-10 minutes. Drain if necessary. Add to a crockpot. Add all other ingredients and stir.
Step 2
Cook on low 6 hours or high 3 hours.
Step 3
Remove the oregano and bay leaves and serve over pasta
Step 4
*can use 1 pound beef and 1 pound Italian sausage. Or 1 pound beef and 1 pound ground pork. Or just 1 pound ground beef. Use what you like best!

You can freeze this too. Let it cool completely and put in gallon sized freezer bags. Freeze up to 6 months.
