Pick out all the bad parts of the beans. Look to see if they have rocks, rotten ones, gross shriveled ones, etc.

Soak them in water for 30 min before using, and throw away any that float.

Put olive oil in instapot on sauté.

add garlic and bacon. Get it nice and cooked up.

Then add sausage (I use a full pack because we like more sausage, but if you don’t then just do a half pack) and beans.

After they’re cooked up, you can see how you like consistency. If too thick, add some water. If too thin, smash up some of the beans with ladle and mix in, plus boil a bit in pot.
