1green bell pepper

1 Tbstomato paste

1.5 poundsground turkey

3 Tbschili powder

2 tspgarlic powder

2 tspground cumin

28 ozcan crushed tomatoes

15 ozcan kidney beans
with liquid

15 ozcan pinto beans
with liquid

Shredded cheddar
for serving

Instructions
Step 1
In large pot heat oil. Add onion and pepper and cook until softened,5 minutes. Add tomato paste stirring constantly until darker in color about 2 minutes more. Add ground beef and cook breaking up with spoon until done. Drain and return to heat. Add chili powder, cumin and garlic powder and seasoning generously with salt and pepper. Pour in crushed tomatoes then fill can halfway with water and add to pot. Add beans and their liquid and stir to combine. Bring to boil and reduce heat to low and let simmer about 40 minutes. Serve topped with green onion and cheddar cheese.
