Ingredients

12 ozmarinated artichoke hearts in oil
jars

¼ cupolive oil

2 cupsonion
chopped

2 Tbspminced garlic

½ tspdried oregano

½ tspdried basil

1 Tbspblack pepper
coarsely ground

½ tspsalt

red pepper flakes

28 ozcan plum tomatoes with juices

¼ cupparmesan cheese
freshly grated

¼ cupfresh parsley
chopped

1 lbspaghetti
fusilli, penne shells
Instructions
Step 1
Drain artichkes hearts, reserve the marinade

Step 2
Heat Olive oil in a large saucepan over Medium-low heat.

Step 3
Add the onions, garlic, oregano. basil, black pepper, salt red pepper flakes, and the marinade. Saute until the onions and garlic are soft, 10 minutes






Step 4
Add tomatoes and simmer for 30 minutes

Step 5
while tomatoes simmer, Bring large pot to boil. Cook pasta according to directions

Step 6
add the artichoke hearts, parmesan and sarsen. Stir gently and simmer for another 5 minutes.
