Instructions

Step 1
Cut up broccoli and place in pot. Add carrots if desired. Pour water over broccoli until the water level is just below the top of the broccoli. Do not submerge broccoli. Bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer broccoli until tender. Check with fork. Add mushroom soup. Add diced ham if desired. Add milk to desired cream level. Heat mixture then add cheese. Do not boil or you may burn milk. Mix until cheese is well blended. Turn off heat to cool then serve. If there is too much water you may need to add less milk or more mushroom soup.
