Step 1
Preheat the oven to 160⁰
Step 2
Line 2 baking trays with greaseproof paper
Step 3
Melt the butter, syrup and bicarbonate of soda gently in a small saucepan
Step 4
Measure the flour, oats and sugar into a mixing bowl
Step 5
Pour over the melted butter and mix well
Step 6
Roll into walnut size balls and flattened slightly before placing onto the baking sheet
Step 7
Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown
Step 8
Cool on a wire rack
