Instructions

Step 1
Dry stir fry crumbled tofu in nonstick pan on medium heat until golden color
Step 2
Add minced longan, chilli, garlic, diced shiitake, and 1 tsp of soy sauce. Save some chilli to add at the end for fresh chilli pepper flavor. It's better to crush these ingredients into a paste if you have a mortar and pestle.
Step 3
Continue stir frying and deglazing the pan with a bit of water several times until desired brown tofu color
Step 4
Add diced okra and stir fry for a minute or two
Step 5
Turn the heat off, add holy basil, fresh mild chilli slices, and 2 tsp of soy sauce, and mix well
Step 6
The optional side of pickled chilli is made with just sliced chilli, longan, sliced raw garlic and vinegar
