Instructions
Step 1
Add some oil to a medium pot over medium heat and sauté the onion.
Step 2
Add the cumin, oregano, salt and minced garlic cloves to the pot and cook for a minute or until fragrant.
Step 3
Add the water and pickled jalapeño brine to the pot.
Step 4
Add the tomatillos, serranos and pickled jalapeños to the pot.
Step 5

Simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 7
Using an immersion blender, blend the hot sauce to your desired texture.
Step 8
Let the sauce cool, then add it to a hot sauce container. Keep in the fridge for up to a month.
