For the Sauce:
½ cupKetchup
¼ cupSoy Sauce
¼ cupHoney
2 tbspsBrown Sugar
1 TbspGinger root
fresh, grated
1 TbspSriracha
3 clovesGarlic
minced, or more

Step 1
1. Season chicken thighs with salt and black pepper to taste.
Step 2
2. Heat olive oil over medium high in a 12-inch skillet. Cook 3-5 minutes until browned on each side.
Step 3
3. In a medium sized mixing bowl add ketchup, soy sauce, honey, dark brown sugar, ginger, Sriracha and garlic. Whisk to combine.

4. Add chicken thighs to a 6 quart slow cooker. Pour sauce over the chicken thighs.
Step 5
5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 2-3 hours or until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce has slightly thickened.
Step 6
6. When fully cooked sprinkle the top of the chicken with green onions and cilantro. Serve over rice.
