Instructions
Step 1
1. Layer onions on bottom of crock pot and pour cup of water or broth over onion.
Step 2
2. Combine garlic powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin; rub all over brisket. Place brisket on onions.
Step 3
3. Combine tomatoes, vinegar and honey; pour over brisket
Step 4
4. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 7 hours or until tender
Step 5
5. (Optional) transfer to a pan and broil for 10 minutes
