Instructions
Step 1
Rinse and massage the basmati rice to remove the starch until the water runs clear. Requires 3-5 washes.



Step 2
Dice up two cloves of garlic, and cook in a pot with butter and oil for 30 seconds.



Step 3
Add the rice to the pot and stir. Add 1.5 cups of water and bring to the boil. Once boiling, lower the temperature and put a lid on the pot. Wait 10 minutes.
