Spicy shrimp rolls or hae bee hiam is a popular Chinese New Year snack in South-East Asia. Typically using dried shrimp as the filling, here is a shortcut by mixing your favorite meat or fish floss with sambal chilli for the filling.

Instructions
Step 1
Mix meat floss and sambal chilli together
Step 2
Place a little less than half a teaspoonful of the mixture on the wrapper and wrap as you would a regular spring roll.
Step 3
Using the egg wash, use it as ‘glue’ to seal the wrapper
Step 4
Deep fry (or airfry) in medium heat till golden brown
