1) grease or put paper baking cups in a muffin tin with 12 regular-sized holes and preheat oven to 400°F
2) crush cereal into fine crumbs in a bag
3) mix cereal, vanilla, milk and raisins well and then beat in oil (or applesauce) and egg with a fork
4) in a separate bowl, stir flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. stir into the cereal mixture until flour is moist, batter should be a bit lumpy.
5) put batter into muffin tin and bake for 20-25 mins until a toothpick comes out clean. if made in paper cups, remove immediately after taking out of oven if not, leave for five minutes and then remove.
6) store in a dry container
