Instructions
Step 1
1. Melt butter in a medium-sized saucepan over low heat. Stir in flour, garlic powder, thyme, salt and pepper until well-combined. Cook mixture over medium heat until smooth and bubbly.
Step 2
2. Remove from heat and slowly stir in milk. Return to burner and cook over medium heat until mixture boils, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted into mixture.
