Instructions
Step 1
Coat peppers with olive oil and place on baking sheet. Broil in oven on high 15-20 minutes (rotate peppers ever 5 minutes)
Step 2
Remove peppers and place in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap for 15-20 minutes.
Step 3
Separate egg whites/ yolks. whisk egg whites for about 7 min or until peeks form. Add in yolks to thicken. add 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
Step 4
Peel skin off of peppers and remove seeds (slice pepper in one spot).
Step 5
slice cheese and stuff peppers with cheese, use toothpicks to close peppers.
Step 6
heat vegetable oil in pan
Step 7
dip peppers into egg mixture and place in hot oil. wait until mixture gets golden brown and flip.
