Jerk salmon with spicy avocado salad

Step 1
Heat a skillet with 2 ¼ tbsp olive oil over medium-high heat. Rub salmon fillet with jerk seasoning, then place in skillet skin side down. Cook 5 minutes without moving, then flip and cook another 5 minutes, or until well browned. Set aside.
Step 2
Tear butter lettuce into bite-size pieces and place in serving bowl. Cut avocado into cubes and add on top. Thinly slice jalapeno pepper and finely chop cilantro. Add all to bowl. Add 2 ¼ tbsp lime juice and remaining 2 ¼ tbsp olive oil and toss until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3
Place salmon on top of salad and sprinkle with pumpkin seeds. Serve.
