Garlic Butter Shrimp Pesto Pasta

This dish looks fancy, but comes together in about 30 minutes. The garlic butter shrimp is the star of this meal.

Instructions

Step 1
Cook spaghetti in a pot of salted water. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water. Peel and devein shrimp then season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, oyster sauce, cooking wine and paprika. Add cornstarch then mix to evenly coat the shrimp. In a pan, add butter and garlic. Cook until fragrant then add then cook shrimp for about 2 minutes on each side.
Step 2
Drain pasta, add butter, pesto sauce and some pasta water. Toss together. (I’m using store bought pesto but you can also make your own! :)
Step 3
Plate your pasta, add olive oil, then top with shrimp, arugula and Parmesan cheese.
