One Skillet Creamy Sun-Dried Tomato Chicken and Orzo

Bob loved it.

Pretty good, had to salt my plate. Next time I would reduce Dijon and use chicken broth/stock instead of plain water. Also may try rice or quinoa for the orzo. I also used lactose free whole milk with butter to replace the heavy cream that I don’t keep stocked.

Used less butter and 1/4 c cream and 1/2 c half & half, could definitely use even less and still be creamy. Used 1/2 low sodium chicken stock and 1/2 water, instead of all water.

It was nice and creamy. I’m going to double the chicken and use less butter next time. We doubled the spinach and it worked well.

Didn't love it. Didn't hate it. I think the Dijon mustard is overpowering. I would cut it in half if I ever made it again.

The taste is amazing. I've also put a mix of curry condiments and it turned out to be a really good choice. I recomand it! :)

Absolutely fantastic- even without any protein it would be excellent!

This was amazing. Used plant based diced "chicken" pieces in place of chicken. Topped with fresh dill in place of rosemary as that was what I had. Also sprinkled some shredded parm over the top. Very easy and tasty. Will definitely make again.

Love it! Great flavor! Needed to stay in oven a bit longer to have chicken fully cooked. I think i’ll make the pieces thinner/smaller next time

We used apple chicken sausage and omitted the sun dried tomatoes. It was really good!

I thought there was too much tomato flavor. If I were to make this again I'd use less tomato and more seasonings

This was so good! I added more veggies to my meal and made it into a soup so it can last all week. In addition to the spinach that's already in the recipe, I added bell peppers and mushrooms. I substituted heavy cream for homemade cashew cream to avoid some calories, and the soup is very creamy. I also double the orzo and the liquid to cook it. Oh man, it's good! Try it!

I feel I needed to multiply orzo, so I get orzo with chicken. If you don’t - you get chicken with orzo.

I subbed orzo for pearl couscous and Dijon for spicy brown mustard. Still fantastic!!!!

Make on stove not in oven

I didn't have any Orzo, heavy cream, shallots, or Sundried tomatoes so, I substituted 1:1 Basmati rice, whole milk/half and half mix, and sweet onions. I cubed the chicken to evenly spread throughout the dish. Ibaked it with the lemon juice instead of putting it after the dish was all cooked. It's really tasty and flavorful!

This was so good! The white wine really does add to it. 2nd time I made it, I added mushrooms too.

Amazing! That splash of fresh lemon juice brings it all together. It was worth the time.

This recipe was enough for 3, we are big eaters but I can't see this feeding 6. I would bulk it up with more vegetables.

I cut down on the cream (did 1/3 cup cream & another 1/2 cup skim milk) and it turned out great!

Added diced asparagus instead of spinach and used bone in chicken thighs not breasts

Cooked the chicken a little differently but sooo good

Swapped the heavy cream out for light cream cheese. Added more garlic and tomatoes than suggested, probably more spinach too, and used chicken broth for the orzo. Utterly amazing! Rich, creamy, just yum.

Would prefer the sun dried tomatoes cut a little smaller, and drain the oil off them more.

Utterly delicious, no complaints. Make sure u season chicken enough if large chunks.

Forgot to get a picture but absolutely love this dish. It turned out great, even for my picky kids. Edit: I've been making this dish about once a month since I found it. It's still a big hit!

I switched out the sun dried tomatoes for roasted red peppers and it was a 10/10

Made a vegetarian version with veggie beef crumbles instead of chicken and LOTS of spinach and extra garlic. So tasty I almost ate the whole thing in one night. Next time, I'll use even less of the orzo.

My family enjoyed it but I'm not a huge fan of tomatoes so this wasn't my favorite, probably won't make again because of my personal preference

Delicious, though not very healthy! Will be a special occasion treat.

This was yummy--ate almost another entire serving right out of the skillet as I was putting away leftovers. Would recommend using 1/2 or 2/3 the amount of chicken; ratio was off with the orzo. Would also recommend adding more sundried tomatoes and garlic than called for.

I added lemon zest to the recipe, before putting the skillet in the oven. Gave it a nice bright flavor.

So good and easy! Only 1-2 things to chop (depending on if you have a garlic press). I didn’t have any sun-dried tomatoes and it was still great, very excited to re-make with them. Definitely more like 4 servings than 6.

It needs more Dijon mustard, but it's good and a really easy dish to make.
