Instant Pot Creamy Chicken Soup

Will most definitely make again!

This was sooo good. I added green chilis, mushrooms, and I substituted nonfat plain greek yogurt thinned down with water instead. More protein and super good.

Added chili powder and will probably add white chili beans or green chiles next time! Kinda felt like something was missing but not sure what yet.

Fantastic recipe! Went overboard on seasonings and it got spicy, but the flavor was incredible. Would almost add more broth/cream just because it comes out thick, like a chowder. Served this recipe over steamed rice and my goodness it was so tasty.

Picture will never do this justice. Flavor is amazing. I did add a little extra of all the spices. I used a full cup of neufchatel cheese instead the 1/2 cup of cream cheese + 1c cream. Used cherry tomatoes instead of sundried in a jar because it's what I had. This was SO easy and could be a weeknight staple for sure.

Added mushrooms before cooking. Added chopped up spinach with cream cheese and used almond milk instead of cream. Served with tortilla chips and avocado.

I used this more as inspiration than anything else and converted to an Italian versus Mexican concept. I had some tomato basil marinated chicken I used. Kept the oregano and used Italian seasoning instead of the cumin and paprika. I did add 1/4 tsp. cayenne for a little kick. Instead of cheddar used Shredded Italian blend and also Shredded up about 1/4 cup Asiago cheese. Made with homemade garlic bread and it was delicious. Whole family liked it and that is always a win!

This was so good. I should have doubled it. Almost not enough for my husband, two boys, and me. My two older kids weren’t home. If they were I would def have to double!

I added spinach towards the end of it cooking when I added the cream and I think it all blended quite well.

I didn't have a instant pot but was still able to make this recipe on stove top by tripling the timings... Tasted great. Family enjoyed it. Might need to adjust spice quantity if you want it to be a bit milder.

Not too had. This is the first time I made cream soup. Turned out pretty well. I read another comment and added mushroom too. Delicious. Made a lot to eat for the next couple of days.

Used rotisserie chicken, added 2 additional cups of chicken brooth and substituted coconut milk instead of cream. Absolutely delicious

Delicious. Added mushrooms, carrots and a cup of pasta to make it a bit more filling. If you do this you may need an extra cup of chicken stock. Husband loved it so much that he ended up having three bowls!

Delicious meal. Took the advice of another comment and added some extra stock, and seasoned to taste. Added some extra cheddar as well. Would recommend having ingredients ready before sautéing the garlic and onion, they cook quick.

Was good! Added a can of Rotel, doubled cheese, and used full chicken stock container.

Taste was great, but it needed 2-3 cups more stock. Otherwise, left as is, it with make a great queso with chips. Also, chop up the tomatoes and red peppers.

Wasnt terrible. Our cilantro was bad, so didn't get to use any.

This wasn't bad. It turned out really well 👍

I changed a few things, but it turned out great. I used half chicken breasts, half chicken thighs. I used regular canned diced tomatoes, but next time I'll probably try to get the fire roasted kind. I added twice the amount of garlic called for—no regrets. And when I make it again I'll wait until later to add the bell pepper so it doesn't turn to mush. I'll probably also go a little heavier on the spices.

Good flavor. I would've probably put less cayenne but live and learn. I agree with others that zucchini and mushrooms would be a nice addition. I blended mine for puree stage of bariatric surgery.

Delicious flavor, I might add more veggies like zucchini and mushrooms next time! I did sub the roasted tomatoes for fresh tomatoes and added some roasted paste I found at the store.
