This wonton soup is quick and easy to make! Toss frozen wontons right into the boiling broth. This recipe can be easily modified for whatever veggies you have on hand.

Ingredients

1 Tbspsesame oil
4 clovesGarlic
finely minced, grated or use frozen cubes
4 tspGinger
finely minced/grated or use frozen cubes
4Green Onion
sliced, divide top and bottom sections
4 cupschicken broth
1 Tbspsoy sauce
2 tsprice vinegar
½ tspwhite pepper
20Chicken Cilantro Mini Wontons
use less wontons if using regular size
1 cupBaby Spinach
or Baby Kale, I used a baby spinach/baby kale mix
sambal oelek
to serve
Instructions
Step 1
Heat sesame oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the lighter bottom section of the green onions, garlic, and ginger. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant, stirring occasionally.
Step 2
Pour in chicken broth, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and add white pepper. Stir and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Add wontons to boiling soup and cook per package instructions. The Trader Joe's chicken cilantro mini wontons only take about 2 minutes to cook. At the end, toss in spinach/kale and stir until wilted. Serve with the top green portion of the green onions and sambal oelek.
