Instructions

Step 1
Place chickpeas in a large bowl and mash with a potato masher or fork. Mash as well as possible, so it forms almost a paste
Step 2
Add sweet potato, garlic, onion, feta, flour and spices and combine
Step 3
Then add in the beaten egg. Once again you want to mash the mixture until it’s a paste-like consistency
Step 4
Form into 6-8 patties and flatten to about 1/2 inch thickness
Step 5
Heat oil in a nonstick pan to medium heat. Cook patties 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy
