This is a no bake banana pudding wirh a rich vanilla custard.

Instructions
Step 1
In large pot, combine cornstarch and sugar without heat on.
Step 2
Add 1/3 of milk to dissolve cornstarch
Step 3
Add the eggs and whisk vigorously till combined.
Step 4
Whisk remaining milk in and stir till smooth.
Step 5
Turn on flame to low medium and whisk constantly. Cook till thickened. It will start to thicken when it comes to low boil. Don't turn heat up, be patient and whisk to thick and smooth
Step 6
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. If not totally smooth, run thru strainer and then cover with plastic wrap touching the custard to keep skim from forming. Chill till cold.
Step 7
Whip 1 cup cream to soft peaks. Stir custard and then fold in whipped cream.
Step 8
Whip remaining cream with 1/3 cup sugar for top
Step 9
In a 13 x 9 pan layer vanilla wafers, custard, bananas, wafers, custard, bananas, then spread whipped cream on top. Garnish with remaining vanilla wafers.
