Instructions
Step 1
Sear the beef Add the ground beef to a pan over medium heat. Add a sprinkle of salt. Let it render out some fat and sear. As it starts to brown, break it up with a wooden spoon or spatula.
Step 2
Sauce it up When the beef is almost cooked through, add the gochujang and peas. Mix until well combined, and add a splash of water if the mixture is too tight. Mix or reduce until the sauce glazes the meat.
Step 3
Turn off the heat and finish with a drizzle of sesame oil. Taste and adjust with salt, if needed.
Step 4
Serve Add a portion of the beef mixture over a scoop of rice. Garnish with scallions & pickled ginger. Enjoy.
Step 5
Serve with any starch or garnish to preference.
