Instructions
Step 1
1. Stir marinade ingredients together until sugar has dissolved
Step 2
2. Toss marinade with chicken, cover, and marinate for at least 2 hours
Step 3
3. Bring sauce ingredients to boil (except for lime/lemon juice and soy sauce)
Step 4
4. Simmer for 5 mins, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened
Step 5
5. Remove from heat and stir in lime/lemon juice and soy sauce. Season to taste with salt
Step 6
6. Preheat grill to medium-high heat
Step 7
7. Thread marinated chicken on skewers and grill 4-5 mins per side, or until cooked.
