Step 1
Bring a pan to medium/high heat
Step 2
Mix together all the seasonings and then cover the mushroom in the seasoning
Step 3
Fry each side of the mushroom for a couple of minutes then using the bottom of another pan or pot, apply pressure to get it as flat as possible
Step 4
Add a couple of table spoons of water to the pan and cover with a lid and let the mushroom steam for 5 minutes (this will make sure the inside is properly cooked)
Step 5
Remove the lid and continue to apply pressure to squeeze our excess water
Step 6
Once the steak is crispy and well cooked as seen in the video, remove from heat and serve with mashed potatoes, peas and gravy 🤌
