Step 1
Julienne your onions, chop cilantro, and green chillies.

In a bowl, combine gram flour, corn starch, salt, cumin, coriander, kashimiri chilli, garam masala, garlic powder, and mix. Then add onions, cilantro, and chillies.

Step 3
Slowly drizzle in water while mixing until a thick batter coats all the onions.

Heat a pot of oil to 350 F.

Use your hands or spoons to shape discs of onions and fry them until golden brown on each side (3-5 min). Drain on a paper-towel lined tray.
Raita
Step 6
Chop mint and cilantro. Then combine with yogurt, lime juice, coriander, cumin, and salt. Season to taste if necessary.
