Step 1
Heat the oil to 160C
Step 2
Finely slice the onion, Chillies and coriander and add to a bowl
Step 3
Juice the lime in and add the salt and spices, mix and let sit for 1 minute before adding the gram flour and stirring to combine to a batter coating the onions
Step 4
Split into golf ball sized balls and fry for 6-8 minutes til dark golden brown
