Hamburger steaks with gravy

Instructions

Step 1
In a large bowl,mix beef,egg,breadcrumbs,pepper,salt,onion powder,garlic,and worcestershire sauce. Form into thick patties.
Step 2
Heat oilin large skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties and onions until browned. Remove patties and keep warm.
Step 3
Sprinkle flour over onions,mushrooms and drippings in skillet. Stir in flour with a fork,scraping bits of beef off the bottom. Gradually mix in beef broth.
Step 4
Season with season salt. Simmer and stir over medium low heat for about 5 minutes,until the gravy thickens. Turn heat to low,return patties to the gravy,cover and simmer for another 15 minutes.
Step 5
Serve with a big bowl of mashed potatoes 🥔
