Rachel’s homemade hummus recipe. If making cooking garbanzo beans from dry, use roughly 8oz.

Instructions
Step 1
Blend up lemon juice, garlic and salt in food processor or blender.
Step 2
When garlic is minced, add tahini and garbanzos and blend, adding sufficient garbanzo bean water (or plain water if you don't have the bean water) to get it the consistency you want.
Step 3
Top with cumin and paprika if desired, or anything else!
Step 4
If you want it really thick (for wraps), doing it in a blender may not work so well, but a food processor does a fine job! You can also hand mash it with a potato masher for a chunky consistency (be sure to mince the garlic by hand) - some prefer it this way.
