Curried Cauliflower with onions and garlic

Saute of cauliflower, onions, garlic, 1 jalapeno and some crushed tomatoes. Seasoned mildly with some Indian style spices.

Instructions
Step 1
Cut and prep cauliflower, onions, jalapeno, and garlic.
Step 2
Heat the oil in pot and gently roast the spices in the hot oil for about 30 seconds. All except the garam masala ( which is added at the end). This helps to release the essential oils and flavors.
Step 3
Then add the cut cauliflower florets and saute and cook covered for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Then add the onions, jalapeno, crushed tomatoes and garlic and continue cooking for another 7 to 10 minutes.
Step 5
Once desired tenderness is reached, turn off the heat and sprinkle the garam masala over the dish and mix together.
Step 6
Serve with rice or naan, chapati or paratha.
