Instructions

Step 1
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, and rinse under cool water to stop the cooking process
Step 2
In a skillet over medium high heat add oil and heat until shimmering. Add diced onion and cook until translucent 5-6 minutes. Add ground beef, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning and cook until no longer pink
Step 3
Once ground beef is cooked, stir in Parmesan cheese, and 1 cup of marinara.
Step 4
In a large casserole spread ½ cup marinara in bottom.
Step 5
Fill shells with ground beef mixture and place in casserole dish. Top with remaining marinara, and mozzarella cheese.
Step 6
Bake at 350° 10-15 minutes until cheese is brown and bubbly.
Step 7
Let rest for 10 minutes, top with fresh torn basil and serve.
