This recipe can be adapted. You could add dried fruits, spices(cinnamon is my favourite for this), replace the honey with maple syrup, anything. Get creative! You could also replace certain things to adjust for allergies. Eg replacing the butter with a vegan alternative, the oats with a gluten free alternative, etc etc. For serving, you can cut into squares and serve like so, but I usually have this for breakfast. The way I do it, is I dump it all into a pot and spoon it into a small ish cup when I want some.

Instructions

Step 1
Grease your heatproof dish with a little butter then line with baking paper
Step 2
Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat or in the microwave(stir regularly)
Step 3
Add the brown sugar and honey to the melted butter, stir to combine
Step 4
Stir in remaining ingredients until everything is well combined
Step 5
Pour mixture into baking tin
Step 6
If baking using air fryer, cook at 170 Celsius for 10-15 minutes. If baking using oven, cook at 210 Celsius for 20 minutes.
Step 7
Remove from air fryer/oven and set aside to cook before removing from the tin
Step 8
Get ready for serving, and enjoy
