Instructions

Step 1
Begin by thoroughly washing your chives under cold water. Drain and chop into 5cm pieces.
Step 2
In a bowl, add 100g of Korean pancake powder (buchimgaru). You can find this flour at your Asian grocery store!
Step 3
Add 80ml of water and whisk. You want to get thick yet watery consistency.
Step 4
Drop your chives in and make sure the batter coats the chives evenly.
Step 5
Add 5 Tbsp of cooking oil onto a heated pan.
Step 6
When the pan is hot, add a big spoonful of your chive batch in the middle.
Step 7
Spread out and flatten with a flipper. Flatten to make sure the batter gets cooked evenly.
Step 8
Change to medium heat. Cook for 3 mins then flip. Cook another 3 minutes and flatten out again with a flipper.
Step 9
Serve with sauce: 2 Tbsp of sauce, 1 Tbsp of vinegar and 1/2 Tbsp of gochugaru.
