French toast with sliced banana & latte

Latte, plain, nonfat milk, 1 small takeaway cup(s) (11½oz) TIP: If you have an air fryer, the French toast works really well. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F. Spray both sides of the bread with oil and lightly spray the air fryer basket. Place the bread into the basket and air fry for 6 to 8 minutes or until light golden. If you have walnuts, sprinkle over for a nice crunch.

Instructions

Step 1
In a shallow bowl, lightly beat egg, cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of water. Add the bread to the bowl and allow it to soak thoroughly in the egg mixture for 15 to 20 seconds each side.
Step 2
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Step 3
Add the egg-coated bread to the skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, until light golden brown. Adjust heat if the outside is cooking too quickly.
Step 4
Remove from pan and place onto a serving plate. Top with sliced bananas and a dollop of Greek yogurt on the side for dipping.
Step 5
Follow with a skim latte.
