Instructions
Step 1
In a big bowl add all of the dry ingredients and whisk together. Add the butter and buttermilk and work with your hands until butter is incorporated (don’t overknead!)
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Roll the very shaggy dough onto a floured work surface, and bring it together with your hands until cohesive (again, don’t knead for too long).
Step 3
Transfer to a baking tray and make two perpendicular cuts, as to create 4 sections. Bake for 30 minutes or until the bottom sounds hollow when tapping. Leave on a wire rack with a tea towel over it to cool down. Serve with some salted butter!
