1.5 poundscherry tomatoes

2 cupsyellow onions
chopped

2garlic cloves

3 tablespoonssalted butter

½ cuplight brown sugar
packed

1 ½ cupapple cider vinegar

¼ cupyellow mustard

2 tablespoonsworcestershire sauce

2 teaspoonskosher salt

1 teaspoonblack pepper

2 tblground cumin

1 tblchili powder

1 tblPaprika

Instructions
Step 1
Heat a large (12-inch) cast-iron skillet over medium-high.
Step 2
Add tomatoes, and cook, stirring often, until skins begin to split and char, 5 to 7 minutes.
Step 3
Add onions and garlic, and cook, stirring often, 5 minutes.
Step 4
Add butter to pan, and cook until melted, about 1 minute.
Step 5
Add brown sugar; stir until combined. Cook, without stirring, until edges start to caramelize, 2 to 3 minutes.
Step 6
Stir in vinegar, mustard, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper; reduce heat to medium-low, and cook until tomatoes completely break down and mixture is slightly thickened, about 45 minutes.
Step 7
Blend until smooth
