Sauté the Ground Beef:

In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat a little olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the chopped onion and garlic and sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.

Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Add the drained and rinsed kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, and tomato paste to the pot.
