Instructions

Step 1
Combine ingredients for marinate in a bowl.

Slice or cut chicken into preferred sizes

Marinate the chicken for at least 30 min but for best results leave overnight.
Step 4
Prep cornflour dredge by adding to a plate and seasoning

Place marinated chicken in the cornflour mixture. Make sure to coat all sides evenly and shake off any excess. Tip - if you want extra crunchy friend chicken you can do a double dip. Once you have shake off the excess, coat the chicken again in the marinade and repeat above step.
Step 6
Fry your chicken! The exact timing will depend on the sizes you cut and method. Deep fry: gives you the crunchiest result. But it is time consuming, messy and wastes a lot of oil. Shallow fry: still a good crunch result. But more of a tendency to stick and it lose some of the coating with this method.
