Instructions
Step 1
In a frying pan, add a splash of oil and add your sausages to cook until browned
Remove
Frying Pan
Step 2
Chop up bacon into small cubes and add your the pan. Cook until slightly crispy
Step 3
Chop carrots and onion then add to the bacon. Cook until softened then add the garlic and tomato purée
Step 4
Transfer to slow cooker then add water, red wine stock pot and chicken stock cube. Then add potatoes and seasonings of choice
Step 5
Cook on low for 4 hours until stew is tender
Step 6
Serve up with buttered bread
