Instructions
Step 1
Melt butter in a frying pan, add rice. Fry the rice for a few minutes.
Step 2
Then pour the rice with warm water (250 ml), cover, and cook for 12-15 minutes. Set the cooked rice aside for a while. Peel the onion, rinse and cut into medium cubes.
Step 3
Heat some vegetable oil in a separate frying pan, fry the onion for a few minutes. Add minced meat to the pan. Fry minced meat with onions for 8-10 minutes, breaking lumps with a spatula.
Step 4
Grease a separate frying pan with vegetable oil. Squeeze sauerkraut from excess liquid and put in a pan. (If the cabbage is very sour, then it can be washed with water and squeezed out the remaining liquid.) Fry the cabbage over low heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 5
Peel the sausage and cut it into small pieces. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Put a third of the cabbage in a mold. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6
Place half of the minced meat and sausage on top of the cabbage. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Then put half of the rice, salt, and pepper.
Step 7
Grease a layer of rice with sour cream (about 1/3 part), salt, and pepper. Then put cabbage, minced meat, sausage, rice, sour cream (second third), cabbage. Season each layer with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 8
Pour everything with the rest of the sour cream, sprinkle with ground paprika and send to the preheated oven. Bake the dish at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
Step 9
Bon Appetit!
