Step 1
Cook noodles according to package directions and reserve 1/4 cup cooking water before draining. In a large sauce pan melt butter over medium high heat and add flour and whisk constantly for one minute slowly add in milk while constantly whisking and whisk until mixture thickens once thickened lower heat to low and add in cheddar and whisk until completely melted pasta water salt and pepper. Combine the sauce and the noodles. Enjoy as is or please into a baking dish and top with more cheddar cheese and bake 10-15 minutes at 350° until slightly golden brown.
