Instructions
Step 1
1. Add ground venison to a large soup pot, add sumac, vinegar and simmer until brown, break apart
Step 2
2. Slice delicata squash in half, remove seeds (save for roasting) and slice into 1/4 inch pieces
Step 3
Add water and rice into soup pot along with 10 garlic cloves minced or mashed bring to a boil and boil for 20 minutes
Step 4
4. Add in squash, corn and maple syrup. After boiling for 10 more minutes reduce heat and simmer until rice begins to break open, serve
