Step 1
Soak the dates in boiling water for 20 minutes ! Make sure the stone is taken out
Step 2
Add the dates to a food processor with the rest of the ingredients ( you can sub any other but butter and melt it on a pan if it’s very stiff ) pulse a few times until the ingredients form a sort of paste but still with some bigger nut and seed bits for the crunchy texture .
Step 3
Roll the mixture into balls . If you wish roll in sesame seeds or coconut flakes . Store in an airtight container and use up to 10 days
