Instructions

Step 1
In a stainless steel skillet on medium high heat, add lard and chopped onions and sear for a few minutes. Add spices, garlic, and bouillon, stir for a couple minutes. Add beans, water, and stir. Bring just to a simmer, and reduce heat to medium low cover with a lid and cook for an hour or 2.
