For the smoothie:
2frozen bananas
2 teaspoonsground flaxseeds
2medjool dates pitted
10ice cubes
¼ cupwater
1 tablespoonmatcha powder
1 teaspoonvanilla bean powder
raw spinach
For the chocolate swirl topping:
Instructions
Step 1
Place all smoothie ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth and creamy. Pour into a bowl.
Step 2
For the chocolate swirl topping, place ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Scoop a few tablespoons of the chocolate mixture with a spoon into the matcha smoothie bowl. Use the tip of a sharp knife to make swirls on top of the smoothie.
Step 3
Add toppings, as desired such as shredded coconut, pomegranates, hazelnuts, matcha powder, cocoa powder, chia seeds and a few edible flowers.
