Instructions
Step 1
Heat the waffle maker on a medium-high setting.
Step 2
Add oats, non-dairy milk, banana, baking powder and cinnamon to a blender and blend until smooth.
Step 3
Brush vegan butter onto the top and bottom of the waffle maker. Add half of the waffle batter, then close and let the waffle cook. These waffles will take longer to cook than regular (white flour) waffles (on my machine, they take about 7-8 mins each, but yours may differ so keep a close eye!).
Step 4
Once the waffle looks golden brown in colour and feels cooked through (and not soft), use tongs to remove it from the waffle maker.
Step 5
Add more vegan butter and cook the second waffle.
Step 6
Serve with fresh fruit and maple syrup and enjoy!
