Instructions
Step 1
Mash half the bananas. Put the porridge oats, semi skimmed milk, mashed banana, milled flaxseed and cacao powder in a pan with a pinch of salt.
Step 2
Stir well and set over a low-medium heat for about 8 minutes, stirring regularly, until thickened and bubbling.
Step 3
Meanwhile, toast the pecans over a medium heat for about 2 minutes; tip onto a board and roughly chop.
Step 4
Slice the remaining bananas. Divide the cooked porridge between bowls and top each with 1/2 a sliced banana, 10g pecans and 1/2 tbsp maple syrup.
