Grandmother's Soup
Classic grandmother's soup made my way :)

Instructions
Step 1
Slice plantains
Step 2
Cut up chicken into bite sized pieces
Step 3
Slice carrots, celery and potatoes the same size
Step 4
Start a pot with water and the soup mix, seasonings, bay leaves, Sazon, garlic, salt, pepper, 2T ginger, boil for 40 mins or until beans half cooked
Step 5
Chop onions in chopper
Step 6
In separate pan, saute diced onions, chicken, remaining ginger. Season chicken with all seasonings.
Step 7
Add garlic 5 mins in. Sautee until chicken is dry then remove pan from heat
Step 8
Add diced potatoes, celery and carrots and boil for 10 mins. Continue to season to taste
Step 9
BOil water in little pot and add plantain, cook until soft
Step 10
Keep boiling soup until veggies are soft and it;s the right consistency
Step 11
Keep plantain separate and add to each serving
